This Tenugui is one I made by mistake
with the color of the character. I wrote down the character with a " Bleach pen".
However, It turned out PINK.
I was expecting it to turn it white.
But drawing something on fabric using a bleach pen is easier than a stencil.
The main issue though us that I can`t control the color, and I have to work very quickly before moisture of bleach spreads up and makes it dull looking.
Then I dried it with a hair dryer very quickly.
After it completely dried, I washed out the bleach material with water, then I line-dried.
This is a nice way to make a hand witting
calligraphy design.
Again, I took one of the Takeda clan`s
war flag designs. The Chinese character
is "Bi" of (Bi)shamonten.
